No. Invent Medical is a technology platform. The healthcare facility and its professionals are responsible for obtaining all required licenses, approvals and permissions and for complying with the applicable laws, NHRA requirements, professional standards and internal policies.
Can a licensed clinic use Invent Medical to organize telemedicine?
Yes. If the facility and its professionals are legally authorized to provide the relevant telemedicine service, Invent Medical can support the operational workflow around booking, scheduling, payment, clinical documentation, tasks, files and follow-up.
Can patients book a telemedicine appointment online?
Yes. A clinic can use its website, a supported booking plug-in or an Invent Medical Social Media Link (SML) to provide a digital entry point for telemedicine appointment requests or bookings, depending on configuration.
Can a telemedicine appointment be shown separately from normal appointments?
Yes. The clinic can mark appointments as online consultations and can configure a dedicated schedule or view for telemedicine workflows.
Can Invent Medical send a payment link before the consultation?
Yes, where online payment is activated. The clinic can send a secure payment link and process the transaction according to its configured payment and accounting workflow. Third-party payment terms and charges may apply.
Can Invent Medical issue an invoice or receipt for a telemedicine consultation?
Yes. The clinic can generate the applicable invoice or receipt within its configured workflow and share it digitally through supported communication channels.

Can AI transcription be used during a telemedicine workflow?
Where the feature is enabled and its use is permitted by the clinic’s policies and applicable rules, AI-assisted transcription can prepare a draft for clinician review. The clinician must review, correct and approve the final clinical content.
Does Invent Medical automatically record telemedicine video calls?
No. Invent Medical does not automatically record telemedicine sessions. The live communication method is selected by the medical facility, and any recording or storage must comply with applicable law, regulatory requirements, consent and clinic policy.
Can telemedicine recordings be stored in Invent Medical?
Only when the facility is legally permitted to retain them. Invent Medical Documents & Images Management can store permitted files, but the clinic is responsible for obtaining any required approval or consent and for applying the correct retention and access policy. In Bahrain, NHRA requirements generally exclude video recording/storage of telehealth consultations unless an exception is granted.
Does Invent Medical guarantee that telemedicine files can never be lost or accessed?
No technology provider can guarantee absolute security or zero data loss. Invent Medical applies the security, access-control and backup measures applicable to the subscribed service and deployment, while the clinic remains responsible for appropriate access, devices, passwords, permissions and regulatory compliance.
Can the patient receive follow-up information after the remote consultation?
Yes. Supported workflows can be used for follow-up appointments, activities and eligible post-consultation documents or communications.
Who is responsible for telemedicine compliance?
The healthcare facility and the licensed healthcare professionals providing the service. Invent ITS provides software tools and does not replace the facility’s legal, regulatory, clinical or professional responsibilities.
