What is Invent Medical?

Invent Medical is a cloud-based EMR and clinic-management platform developed by Invent ITS in Bahrain. It is designed to connect the patient journey with clinical, operational and business workflows.

Invent Medical is built on more than 16 years of experience working with clinics and medical facilities. The platform is used by thousands of users across healthcare and business environments, including clinic and hospital deployments.

What makes Invent Medical different from a conventional EMR?

Invent Medical is designed to connect more than the medical record itself. Depending on the package and activated modules, it can connect online presence, booking, calls, reception, digital intake, clinical documentation, treatment planning, payments, pharmacy, laboratory workflows, follow-up, activity management and ERP.

Does Invent Medical provide online booking?

Yes. Invent Medical can support online booking through a branded Social Media Link (SML), an embedded website booking plug-in or a complete website integration.

What is the Invent Medical Social Media Link (SML)?

The SML is a branded digital presence that can be configured with the clinic's colors, logo, providers, provider photos, clinic photos, videos and booking options. It can be linked from Instagram, WhatsApp, advertising and other digital channels.

Can a clinic use online booking without building a full website?

Yes. A clinic can use the SML as a ready-to-use digital booking presence. A full website is not required.

Can Invent Medical connect to an existing clinic website?

Yes. A supported booking plug-in can be embedded into an existing website and connected to the Invent Medical scheduling workflow.

Can Invent build the complete clinic website?

Yes. Invent can provide website design and integration as a separate service.

Does Invent Medical support WhatsApp?

Supported WhatsApp messaging can be integrated for configured workflows such as appointment confirmations, reminders and selected patient communications. Messaging charges and provider terms may apply.

What is CallerApp?

CallerApp is an optional integration that can connect supported clinic telephony with Invent Medical. It can help staff identify known callers, distinguish new and existing patients and organize missed-call follow-up.

Can Invent Medical help clinics follow up missed calls after hours or weekends?

Yes. In supported CallerApp deployments, missed calls can be surfaced for structured callback follow-up when the clinic reopens, reducing dependence on manually checking phone logs.

Can patients pay before they arrive?

Yes, where online payment is activated. Clinics can send a secure payment link for eligible deposits, offers, packages or bookings, including remote-payment scenarios where the activated payment service allows it.

Can a prepayment be treated as an advance instead of an invoice?

Yes. Depending on the clinic's configured accounting workflow, a payment can be applied to an invoice or held as an advance / unearned amount until the related service is delivered.

Does Invent Medical integrate with POS terminals?

Invent Medical supports selected POS integrations. Where enabled, payment information can flow back into the system, helping reduce manual reconciliation.

Does Invent Medical work with AFS and Eazy?

Invent Medical supports selected payment integrations through partners including AFS and Eazy where activated. Availability, charges and terms depend on the relevant clinic and provider agreements.

Can Invent Medical read Bahrain CPR smart cards?

Invent Medical can support compatible smart-card reading in configured deployments, allowing authorized demographic fields to populate the patient record and reducing manual data entry.

Can patients sign forms electronically?

Yes. Clinics can configure digital forms and, where e-signature is enabled, patients can complete and sign supported documents electronically on compatible devices.

Does Invent Medical include a waiting-area display?

Yes. A supported waiting-area display can show patient progress using privacy-conscious identifiers and provider or room information.

Does Invent Medical support vitals and pediatric growth charts?

Yes. Vitals can be recorded and compared over time, and supported pediatric workflows can include growth-chart tracking.

Does Invent Medical support specialty-specific clinical workflows?

Yes. Invent Medical can be configured for different specialties using specialty workflows, templates, medical sheets, diagrams and structured fields. Dental deployments may include 2D/3D charting where enabled.

Does Invent Medical include AI transcription?

AI-assisted transcription is available where enabled. It produces a draft for the clinician to review, edit and approve before the content becomes part of the medical record.

Can Invent Medical create treatment plans with prices and discounts?

Yes. Treatment plans can include the clinical roadmap, priorities and financial information such as prices and permitted discounts.

Does Invent Medical support electronic prescriptions?

Yes. Configured prescription workflows can support clinic templates, controlled document states, clinician signature settings, diagnosis references and configured medication data sources.

Does Invent Medical have laboratory, radiology and pharmacy workflows?

Yes. Activated deployments can support laboratory/specimen, radiology-related and pharmacy workflows, including pharmacy inventory controls.

Can Invent Medical send post-treatment instructions automatically?

Yes. Clinics can configure procedure-specific post-treatment instructions or educational documents for digital delivery.

Can patients confirm or reschedule their next appointment digitally?

Supported appointment workflows can send confirmations and reschedule options through configured digital channels, reducing the need for routine calls.

Does Invent Medical work on mobile devices?

Invent Medical supports mobile access through compatible iOS and Android applications and device workflows. Available functions depend on the user's permissions, the clinic's configuration and the activated features.

Does Invent Medical include task management?

Yes. Activity management can be used for clinical, insurance, administration, finance, accreditation, hygiene and other operational tasks.

Does Invent Medical include ERP?

Invent Medical integrates with the Invent ERP ecosystem. Depending on the package, this can extend into accounting, procurement, purchasing, inventory, costing and VAT-related workflows.

Does Invent Medical have a patient portal?

An optional patient portal is available for eligible deployments after validation and security/authentication setup.

Does Invent Medical provide implementation, training and support?

Invent provides implementation, onboarding, training and support services for Invent Medical. The exact service scope and support arrangements depend on the clinic's agreement and implementation plan.

Is every Invent Medical feature included by default?

No. Some features are core, while others are optional, package-dependent, integration-dependent, hardware-dependent or subject to validation. The exact scope should be confirmed in the clinic's proposal and implementation plan.
